Please carefully read the section labeled "Important Steps" below. This section includes information on what you should do before, during and after the process of your ID changing.
How do I know if my username will be changing?
You can use the "Collision Look Up" tool on this page to see if and when your username will be changing.
What do I do if my username will NOT be changing?
Nothing. You will be able to continue using your current username for everything with no interruption in service.
When will my account be migrated and how will I know when it is complete?
You should have received an e-mail with your migration date. If not or if you have forgotten it, you can use the "Collision Look Up" tool on this page to retrieve your migration date.

Your account will be locked from 5pm on this day to 8am the following day. Please log off by 5pm on this day. If you are in the process of doing something and can not log off, do not worry, your service will not be interrupted. Be sure not to log off or let your session time out otherwise you will not be able to log back in.

To check when your account migration is complete you can use the "Status Checker" tool on this page. Simply enter in your original username and click "Check" to retrieve the status of your account migration.
What will happen to my calendar data?
All Exchange and SunOne calendar data will be migrated so you will not lose anything.

Your portal calendar, however, will need to be backed up using the export tool. Follow this guide to learn how to do this.

Important Steps
What should I do before my username changes?
The two most important things for you to do before your username changes are:
  1. Login to the portal and backup your portal calendar using the export tool. Follow this guide to learn how to do this.
  2. Use the tool on this page labeled "Get Initial Portal Password" to retrieve your new account's password so you can login once your username change has been completed. If you do not do this then you will have to call the service center when your new account is ready. Save this password in a safe spot so you can retrieve it once your account has changed!
What should I do on the day my username is supposed to change?
If you are logged into any system, PLEASE LOG OUT. Not doing so could corrupt data during the change.

DO NOT try to access any of the systems with your username.

This includes but not limited to e-mail, the portal, e-learning, CORE, and wireless. Doing so could interfere with the change and possibly cause data corruption with your account.
